Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, hire, and train canteen staff, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Oversee inventory control, managing purchases, stock levels, and vendor relationships to maintain budget compliance and minimize waste.
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and ensure incident reports are documented and addressed appropriately.
- Maintain financial management, including accurate record-keeping, monthly profit and loss statements, and assisting with audits.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol laws and health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Develop innovative drink menus and promotions, collaborating with the events coordinator to enhance customer engagement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in hospitality management or bartending.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and employee performance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of financial management and inventory control processes.
- Certification in alcohol service training, such as SERVSAFE Alcohol or similar.
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
